Education

Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare

Master of Arts in Psychology

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington (LMHC). I have worked in the counseling field in Seattle for over twenty years in diverse clinical settings with many different populations, including fifteen years as a Mental Health Practitioner and Associate Adjunct Faculty at the University of Washington.

One of the true joys of the field of psychology is that it is continuously expanding. Over the years, I have been fortunate in being able to participate in numerous advanced workshops, trainings, symposiums and courses, continuously expanding my knowledge base.

Continuing interests include:

Mindfulness and Psychotherapy: Most recent conferences attended: "Healing and Transformation, Buddhist Wisdom and Neuroscientific Insight" by Jack Kornfield, PhD and Dan Siegel, MD; "Mindfulness Practices" by Shelley Young, MA.

Use of the Enneagram, a system which describes different personality types and their interrelationships. Most recent conference attended: "The Gift to Life of the Enneagram's Three Centered Knowing: Core to All Relationship and Validated by Our Neurobiology" by David Daniels, MD.
